Arrive at Phuentsholing, the gateway town of Bhutan from India. This lively border town blends Bhutanese tradition with modern influences and serves as an important commercial centre.
After arrival, settle into your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the local markets and streets at leisure.
Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Proceed towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, beautifully set amidst forested hills and river valleys. En route, enjoy scenic landscapes that mark the gradual transition from the plains to the Himalayan foothills.
On arrival, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to soak in the calm atmosphere of the city.

Explore the cultural and spiritual highlights of Thimphu. Visit Kuensel Phodrang, home to the magnificent Buddha Dordenma statue overlooking the valley.
Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, a revered landmark built in memory of Bhutan’s Third King. Discover traditional Bhutanese life at the Folk Heritage Museum before enjoying panoramic views from Sangaygang View Point.
Later, visit the Takin Preserve Centre, dedicated to Bhutan’s national animal, followed by the historic Changangkha Lhakhang, a temple known for its spiritual significance.
Conclude the day at Tashichho Dzong, the impressive fortress that houses the seat of Bhutan’s government and monastic body.

Upon arrival in Paro, explore Ta Dzong, the National Museum, showcasing Bhutanese art, relics, and cultural treasures. Continue to Rinpung Dzong, a striking fortress-monastery that serves as the administrative and judicial centre of the valley. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Later, explore the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, built to commemorate historic victories, and visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan.
