Later, visit Drukgyel Dzong, a historic fortress built to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan invasions, with magnificent views of Mount Jomolhari on clear days.

Conclude the day with a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan.
