Detailed Itinerary
Arrive in Guwahati and proceed to Tezpur, a charming town set along the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The evening is free for leisure and relaxation.
Overnight stay at Tezpur.
Travel onward to Dirang, entering the scenic landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh. En route, visit the Tipi Orchidarium, renowned for its impressive collection of orchids, including rare native species. Continue the journey through picturesque mountain roads, passing waterfalls and offering breathtaking views along the way.
Upon arrival in Dirang, check in to your hotel and explore local attractions including seasonal apple orchards and kiwi farms, Dirang Monastery, and Kalachakra Monastery. Dirang is also known for its natural hot water springs.

Proceed towards Tawang, often referred to as the Land of Hidden Paradise. En route, cross the breathtaking Sela Pass and visit the tranquil Sela Lake, which remains frozen for much of the year.
Continue to the Jaswantgarh War Memorial, commemorating the bravery of Indian soldiers, followed by a visit to the spectacular Nuranang Falls, one of the most scenic waterfalls in Arunachal Pradesh.
Arrive in Tawang and check in to your hotel. The evening is free for leisure and acclimatization.

Explore the cultural and spiritual heart of Tawang. Visit the world-famous Tawang Monastery, a magnificent 17th-century complex also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse, overlooking the expansive Tawang Valley.
The monastery houses resident monks and a remarkable collection of ancient scriptures, sacred images, and an impressive gilded Buddha statue, making it the largest monastery in the Himalayan region.
Continue to Urgeling Gompa, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama and an important pilgrimage site. Later, visit the War Memorial, locally known as Namgyal Chorten, built in honor of the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian conflict.

Depart from Tawang and travel to Bomdila, the administrative headquarters of West Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh. Known for its cool climate and strong Buddhist influence, Bomdila is surrounded by sweeping Himalayan vistas and snow-clad peaks. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.
Later, visit the Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa) and Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), both offering serene spiritual ambiance and panoramic views. In the evening, explore the local market.

Explore the rich wildlife of Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its population of the one-horned rhinoceros.
The park is also home to wild buffaloes, elephants, swamp deer, hog deer, and a diverse variety of birdlife including pelicans, storks, and darters, supported by its many wetlands. Later, enjoy another safari experience through different zones of the park and visit the Kaziranga Orchid Park, showcasing the floral diversity of the region.

Travel onward to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, often referred to as the Scotland of the East.
